What unites the women of WILD?  Our commitment to:

  • fight for economic justice;
  • promote grassroots activism; and
  • challenge racism, sexism, homophobia and all forms of oppression.

We provide education, training and support to help women become ever more effective organizers and leaders: in their unions and the labor movement as a whole; in the political arena and within their communities.

WILD Mentoring Program  -  WILD has developed a mentoring program for young women (mentees) who are interested in learning from experienced union and community teachers (mentors) to help women develop knowledge and skills for union and social activism. Our first class of eight teams met for the first time on July 23rd and we are looking for other women who may want to participate in the future as mentors or mentees.  If you would like more information about becoming a mentor or a mentee,  please email Joanie Parker, WILD Mentoring Coordinator at jparker@wildlabor.org or call Kathy Casavant at 617-825-0520.
